Our Statement of Faith
  • We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, without any error, the all-sufficient authority in matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living.

  • We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

  • We believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ, and that He is the only true God and man.  He died on the cross for our sins.  We believe He rose from the dead, ascended into heaven where He now sits at the right hand of the Father and is now our High Priest and Advocate.

  • We believe that man was created in the image of God.

  • We believe that man is saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

  • We believe that salvation is the free gift of God and is possessed by those who received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

  • We believe that baptism should be by immersion and the Lord's Supper is a memorial to the suffering and death of Jesus Christ on the cross.  These ordinances are observed by the church, but they are not regarded as means for man's salvation.

  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the everlasting punishment and separation from God of the unsaved in hell.

  • We believe that Christians are filled with the Holy Ghost by faith.  Most importantly, we believe that signs and wonders (e.g. prophesy, speaking of other tongues, the Fruit of the Spirit, a holy and righteous life) will be exemplified in every Christian's life.

  • We believe that when Jesus Christ returns, the dead in Christ shall be raised first.  The righteous shall be forever in the presence of God and the wicked shall be condemned to eternal death.

  • We believe in the self-government of the church.  The church shall manage its own affairs and shall not be subject to any other religious body or organization.
